Talking about trendy, last week Hard Rock Café made another statement about their opening in the Island and what an awesome way to do it by bringing designer Katie Haggerty, from NYC, to present a special collection designed and inspired by Hard Rock Cafe at this year's San Juan Moda.
The show started with a live music performance by the Puerto Rican and Grammy Artist, Sie7e; it felt like the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was going on. He played a variety of Rock hits that we all knew as we heard them; it was awesome! Of course, a fashion explosion occured as the show continued with the fun participation of the first model to hit the runway, Caridee English who appeared on the fashion hit show: America's Next Top Model.
All the styles by the designer (Haggerty) showed a lot of white and grey leather; with most of the looks being very ready-to-wear to hit the night out at the soon to be opened HRC in San Juan.
I personally got to meet Katie during the after party event that took place at the exclusive lounge The Rose in the Hotel San Juan lobby area; gotta admit it, she's a delightful person. Her friendliness and easy-to-talk-to personality rocked during our meet in between bubblies and great music. She even told me she was indeed coming back to Puerto Rico for the grand opening of the new Hard Rock Cafe and was very open in collaborating together! The expected opening date is around August 2015, so we'll meet again for sure!
