OOH LA LA!

Hi friends!

This Saturday I went to Ooh La La mani & pedi Spa and had an amazing time zipping on a delicious coffee while mingling with new friends.
It was the perfect atmosphere to get papered and have a well-deserved "me" time.

They started with the pedi, where I chose a purple nail polish (purples and blues are really in for summer). Ohhh, and the scrubs they used are a-ma-zing, the fragance is delicious and it also left my feet very smooth and soft.

For the mani I wanted some art design, so I selected the same line of colors I already mentioned, but adding some geometrical lines and sparkles.

It was a great experience, can't wait to make my appointment once again!!!

Always remember that you have to feel beautiful inside, so you can be gorgeous outside.

BLOOMING

Pineapples, flowers and lace... that's the kind of trend I love for summer.

And what about a fruity salad of vibrant colors? Yes, please!
Keeping our trends for this look settled, here's the outfit of the day.

I'm wearing a colorful pencil dress from Daniella's Boutique with tropical essentials. So, to keep that freshness of the beautiful print, I matched a pair of purple tassel earrings from the designer Lizet Miró. I wanted other colors to stand out from the dress rather than just the orange, which is the main one here (on the pineapples and at the sides). I also integrated a pair of red heels to stay on the colorful line.

This dress has multiple uses, you can use it with flat sandals, cute-basic wedges for a Sunday Funday or just to make a fashion statement as I'm showing it.

Don't be scared of using different colors in the same look... be free to express yourself with colors in your outfits... IT'S SUMMER!!! :)

Enjoy the trend!

LET'S MIX THEM

Hello!

As I wrote on the last post called "Rosie Fringes", feathers and fringes are very trendy for this season, so today I'll show you the same tactic to turn your favorite fringe pieces into a more glamorous or fashionable look.

This time, I'm mixing up a lot of textures such as lace, fringes and studs, to create contrast.
I'm using Daniella's Boutique aqua top with lace on the top and fringes on the bottom. To make a more serious or glam look, I mixed it up with a skirt from Gatsby which has different types of brown colors and tiny studs.

To finish the look, I put on a pair of Hip Hop black earrings and necklace with clear stones.

For me, it's a "hang out" outfit type or even a cocktail event attire.
You can also try this blouse with jeans or white shorts for summer.

I'm sure you'll love this trend #outoftheoven!!!

ROSIE FRINGES

 Hi Trendoveners!!!

Who doesn't love fringes??? Well, I'm kinda addicted to them this season, and they're really in for this Summer.

Fringes are a great asset to make the trendy "boho chic" look we all love. That's why today I wanted to show you how simple you can create this type of outfit and still keep in mind the trendiest statements of the seasons.

I integrated the "rose gold" or "blush" color (two terms I know to describe it) to my look, because its also one of the most commonly used colors of this summer, so why not make an awesome look with some of these multiple trendy elements.

Therefore, I matched a fringe blouse from Daniella's Boutique with a flare leg-jean from ZARA. The bell bottoms and flare jeans are a great example of bohemian, so it is very simple to put on a nice blouse and keep on going anywhere with style.

As some of you have already figured out, I'm a necklace lover, so I wore a chunky gold neck piece with stones in dark pink from Turmalina & Durando and used round sunnies with colorful midnight blue glass to add more to the summer vibe!

To complete this gorgeous trend #outoftheoven, I recommend wedges, because with this look you're going to show more of the flare pants than the shoes.

Now it's your turn to rock & style a "boho" outfit look!  Don't forget to tag @thetrendoven on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter!!!

Much Love,

KM

PURPLES FOR SUMMER

Morning Friends!

For summer, we always tend to relate the freshness of the season and use it in our outfits, makeups and much more.

That's why today, I'm going to show you 5 easy steps of Makeup Hacks from Avon

After applying foundation and a soft contouring, I used the "Purple Pop" eyeshadow squad. The small palette contains four options of purples, starting with a soft one and ending with a darker one so you can play with them, making a fun skmokey eyes look.

Then, I applied the MEGA Effects liquid eye liner in "Black Noir". This type of liner has a sharp and pointy brush, so you can apply it in an easy way; it's perfect to make the "cat eye" look.

Oh lashes!!! For me, lashes are always super important on our makeups, they should be the protagonist of the scenes. So I used the brand new MEGA Effects mascara in "Blackest Black". To use it, you have to grip the sides and rock the mascara brush side to side. It's different and fun to use, I compare it with a real painting brush (lol).

To give that sexy touch to this makeup look, I tried the Ultra Color lipstick in one of my favorite colors: "hot pink rose ardent".

And THAT'S A WRAP!!! You are perfectly gorgeous to crack your night out or even better, whenever this summer.

Hope you liked it and enjoyed today's makeup hacks. Don't forget to go to my Facebook and Instagram pages as The Trend Oven where you can find all my tags and a lot of surprises coming up #outoftheoven!!!

With much love & trends,

KM

BOHO IN THE CITY

Hi loves,

For the past few years, Summer has brought along the "boho" trendy look, which consists of free and flowy clothes, a lot of mesh fabrics and putter jewelry.

This time, I tried to get that bohemian style, but with modern statement pieces; I wanted to keep the freshness, so I wore a trendy romper in color beige from Hip Hop Store

Another thing "boho lovers" use to add to their favorite looks are leather boots, therefore, I put on my favorite booties from Gatsby (the ones I wore to my first trip to New York City last year).

To finish this easy look, I put on an amazing necklace design by the Puerto Rican Designer Carolina Rodríguez, who added more life and boho-glam to my outfit, staying fashionable with the never dull "layering trend".

Stay fab this Summer with looks like these!!!

Keep tuned for much more coming this HOT SUMMER!!

LIV

Hello Trendoveners!

Last Thursday the luxury gym, LIV Fitness Clubs of Puerto Rico presented the latest trends for this summer, specially for swimwear attire, in collaboration with local designers: WELLE Swimwear, Sulyvette Díaz Studio, Verónika Pagán & DVIT Swim.

I was thrilled to be the Fashion Blogger elected to show and host these amazing selections of the brands.

The fashion party started with the presentation of the shoe accessories, Heel Condoms. To spice up the ambiance, we enjoyed complimentary cocktails from Cointreau in a lounge music atmosphere.

When the runway show started, the first model of every designer'se collection  entered with a sign which represented each designer or brand, making it easier for the atendees to remember from who was each attire previewed.

In every collection the transparencies were the predominate statement, I saw a lot of bikinis and one piece suits. Intense and bright colors gave the final punch to the outfits.

I also enjoyed gathering with friends, designers, fellow bloggers & specially with all my beautiful trendoveners that came to mingle with me during the night.

Stay tunned for many more events coming this year!
