SAN JUAN MODA 15' - DAY 1

Hey guys!

On the first day of San Juan Moda, The Trend Oven and fellow Puerto Rican Bloggers were hosted by Hawaiian Tropic Puerto Rico to designer Luis Antonio's show. 

When we first arrived at the Hotel San Juan, actual home of this fashion week, they hosted us at the over-the-top and exclusive Meat Market Miami Restaurant, where we had a chance to meet the other invited bloggers and taste delicious appetizers. 

Soon after this delight, our second stop with Hawaiian Tropic was to a VIP lounge just outside the ballroom where the fashion shows took place. Here, we celebrated the start of this fabulous fashion week with some bubblies and laughs.

Just before the fashion show started, we were taken inside the ballroom to another VIP Lounge with white comfortable sofas right next to the runway thanks to Hawaiian Tropic. Luis Antonio presented his different types of gowns in lace patterns, asymetric prints and classic styles, making it an even more memorable moment with his exquisite collection choices!

HYDRATION TREATMENT

Hey Trendoveners!

Since everyone has asked me what my daily beauty treatments are, here's my routine.

At night I put on my face Anew Clinical Hydration Mask, from Avon, to fortify my skin and bring all the nutrients I need. 

The treatment lasts up to 48 hours and the best part of it is that you can use it on top of your favorite night cream.

The next morning, I NEVER leave home without a fabulous lipstick and durable mascara... so I use the new ultra color indulgence pink lipstick & big and daring volume mascara (as shown on the picture).

NORDSTROM GALA

Hello there!!!

As I promised, here are all the details about one of the biggest stores at The Mall of San Juan (New mall in Puerto Rico), Nordstrom.

It all started with delicious mini Patrón Margaritas, live mannequins and tropical music. A lot of models were wearing their multiple and famous brands; many bought their next outfits that same night.

The fundraiser event raised more than they had imagined and all while enjoying exquisite fashion, mingling with great people, photo booth experience and live tropical music.

Many of the island fashion bloggers were cited... Including myself! We were all very excited about this opening, because of all the trendy brands that are part of the world's ultra fashion industry and now we have them here in sunny San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Here's just a taste of the Nordstrom Gala experience; hope you enjoy it!

SERENITY

Mornin' friends!

Today's look is all about simplicity on the outfit and the way you can use the color beige. 

I made this combination in order to show you how to wear this basic color with some statement pieces and "pop out" what we want ti stand out.

My selection was a pair of shorts in a very light beige with a nude tank top inside the shorts. Why inside? Because if you left the cami outside the shorts it would look a little bit messy on your belly area. Plus, I added an orange cardigan as a statement, so I wanted to look more neat inside the cardi.

All these clothing pieces are from the store Hip Hop. They have super fashion outfits for teens and now for Juniors!!! (The one I'm wearing on my posts).

Then, I used a pair of semi booty/heels in color beige with a little sparkle, from the store La Favorita. To end up these gorgeous and easy-to-make look, I added as a last touch, a long necklace in color gold, with details in yellow.

This is kind of a boho-chic look, with a touch of glam.

LUCKY TUESDAY

Hi peeps!

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!!

Today's inspo is that green-ish trend of the day.

During my last stay at the beautiful and tropical Palmas Del Mar, I wore a super comfy but fashion outfit. 

Is that time of transition for seasons, so why not trying some shorts to welcome the warm temperatures in my Island (Puerto Rico)? 

 The shorts from Hip Hop in color green matched very well with a turquoise blouse in a "boho chic" style. The flowers in it, pops out that freshness of the tropics and makes a balance between the similar colors from the bottom an the top. 

The shorts also have silver buttons as details, so the jewelry I chose, also from Hip Hop, are chunky bohemian statements in putter. 

To follow that line of sportiness, I wore Vince Camuto sandals in Off-white color from La Favorita.
