Is the color blue in your top 10 favorites?
Let me start by telling you that "Serenity" blue is the color of the season, and of course I had to share some ideas of how to use it incorporating prints.
As I walked by the streets in my lovely Puerto Rico, I spotted this wonderful corner recently called "Libros Libres" and I decided to make this photo shoot on the spot. I fell in love with this initiative that promotes reading, where you can also share your favorite books or magazines or recycle them; I just love when people get creative with a purpose...
...Getting back to the street look, here is my #ootd.
I wore a striped top from Hip Hop Store, which has undercover shoulders and sexy bows at the sides. I wanted to match this top with different shades of blue, so I took a risk and combined a top with stripes with a high waist polka dot short. I think the combination worked pretty awesome and best of all, kept the line of "blue blocking".
To add some attitude to this preppy but chic look, I wore a pair of bulky wedges from Melissa Shoes and a cross-sided bag in the same burgundy color. It balanced all the prints and neutralized them with the color beige on the top.
