BOTTOMS HIT THE STREETS

Hello Hello Dear Friends,

As part of my "Trendy Reports" I try to bring you the latest trends on the streets and what most people would like to wear; following the fashion guidelines of course.

That's why today, I'm presenting one of the hottest trends of the Season: the beautiful "Bell-Bottom Jeans". 

I remember when I was younger (90's) and every single woman had these kind of jeans... Yes, I plead guilty myself... I wore mine back at the time! 

This trend was one of the strongest for the 1990's and because trends come and go, here we are again with this one. 

In my opinion, this kind of jeans are designed for tall woman, why you ask?

Well, because if you are petite, the wide (bell) leg of the jeans are going to make you look shorter than you are. So, if you are madly in love with this trend, I recommend the "Flare" or "Boot Cut" style.  It has sort of that wide leg style, but at the same time its more fitted to the contortion of the leg. 

That said, here's my look...

I'm wearing a beautiful bell-bottom from Daniella's Boutique, in combination with a nude top with exquisite pleated details. I consider this outfit a casual / chic look. To dress it down (because I was enjoying the art at the awesome "Santurce Es Ley" in Puerto Rico - Art Festival), I used an accessory, a super cute emoji crossed-sided bag and a high pony tail.

RÉGIMEN DE BELLEZA

¿Cómo sueles tratar tu piel? 

Si aún no tienes un régimen de belleza, lee este corto artículo porque en cuatro pasos sencillos puedes conenzar a cuidar tu rostro.

Comienza por lavarte la cara hasta que quede completamente limpia, sin residuos de maquillaje.

Luego de haber hecho este paso básico y dejar el rostro seco nuevamente, exfolia la piel con el "Ultra Strength- Retexturizing Peel" de Avon para eliminar cualquier marca post-acné, líneas finas, daños ocasionados por el sol, entre otros. Este producto lo usarás con un día de por medio, por la mañana o por la noche. 

Seguido de la exfoliación, vas a aplicar la crema "Anew AHA Refining Cream", esta servirá como humectante, por lo que la podrás utilizarla todos los días. Además de contener ácido alfahidróxico (que son ácidos potentes que contienen antioxidantes), éste ayuda a que tu piel se vea años más joven. 

Para finalizar, el suero iluminador "Anew Vitamin C - Brightening Serum" ayudará a que tu piel luzca más iluminada, clara y con un tono más parejo. Úsalo por la mañana y la noche, como tu trataniento ANTES de humectar.

Espero que este sea el comienzo de una buena piel hidratada y rejuvenecida.

TWISTED SPRING

Hi loves!

I have something very special for you today. This post is dedicated to Spring trends, but this time, with a twist that incorporates dark colors.

The trend has kind of a "color blocking" vibe, I've seen it a lot in magazines, fashion reviews and in super stores that scream out the word trend!

How do you recognize the look? Well, it's  very simple. The patterns are usually black, brown and navy blue, so it's going to have a splash of colors in it; maybe flowers or geometrical lines are the stamp that describe the look, such as the romper I'm wearing in the pictures below, from Hip Hop Store.

Which by the way is super comfy and it can be worn with mid wedges, nice flat sandals or even funky tennis shoes.

SERENITY

Hello sweet followers,

It feels so good to be back writing about the best things I know... Fashion, trends & style! 

I've been kind of busy lately, but because you are an essential part in my beautiful and amazing blogging life, I'll be chatting a little bit of what I'm doing right now and what's keeping me busier than ever. 

As many of you remember I graduated Journalism last May; it is my passion and was my dream to graduate from this with a Bachelors Dregree, specially in something I really love. So, as most people do after graduating, I was craving a full-time job in that field to compliment my blog.

It's very satisfying to find a job quickly in Journalism or a similar field, but that wasn't my case, it was kind of hard to find something here in Puerto Rico since the economy isn't that stable right now and the advance technology is killing positions like mine. 

So, besides my part time job (my baby, The Trend Oven blog) I wanted to grow as a professional... And talking about technology "ding, ding, ding" an opportunity was presented! I got an offer with everything I've been learning about social media, content development and the internet; the doors had just opened for me. During that stressful job search I finally got not one, but two job offers at the same time.

To me, it was like I had won the lottery or something like that (haha), I started to see some light above those shadows that professionally were casted above me for a short time, and for that reason,  it's why I've been busy. I started working at a company that has many shoe brands and store locations in Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo and other places coming soon! I love what I'm doing right now as a Content Developer in the Marketing Department for the company. 

Now that I've explained the reason I've been hiding these few weeks, here's my post of the day!!!

My look is inspired in serenity and clarity. I wore a basic crop top with leg-opened palazzos, both from Hip Hop Store.

This outfit looks very refreshing, it is perfect for the newly summer days, and can also be worn with flat sandals or even mid wedges to make it more dressy.

As for the accesories, I wore a long necklace in color gold, but I thing it would also look great with embellished earrings. 

I hope everyone loved this look #outoftheoven & don't forget to dream BIG and be persistent in obtaining what you set yourself to do, I think that's the key to success.
